Happy Anniversary

Saturday was our 5 year anniversary. It seems crazy that it has already been five years. With Nate leaving the next day and many other factors we had a pretty simple celebration. We rented a movie, bought some yummy food to have picnic style while we watched the movie, and stayed home. We spent the earlier part of the day as a family since Nate would leave us the next day for a month. Happy Anniversary! I love you!We tried to remember what we did the previous anniversaries and we do not have much recollection. Obviously we haven't been able to do anything spectacular. We are hoping that one day, in hopefully the not too distant future, we can take an overnight trip together or something.

Some Fun in the Sun

This was just some good ol' fashion fun in the backyard while Nate was home the last couple of weeks. We set up our trusty old blow up pool and the kids splashed and played in it for a couple of hours.

Bristol loves climbing on the railing in the backyard. She usually then climbs to the other side where there is an actual several foot drop off.
Kali getting her lunch. She loves her mealtimes.

And He's Off

So Nate is off again. It was so nice having him home for two weeks. He is now off to Denver for four weeks. We are going to miss him terribly and I am not sure how I am going to survive, but somehow I guess we will. I have been praying that the time will just go by quickly. Pictures will be coming soon. I just have to download them to the computer and don't have enough time right now to do that. So hopefully later today or tomorrow.

Pictures of Kali

A few pictures of my sweet little baby. She is getting around every where these days. She scoots along on her bum while moving her legs from one side to the other. She is getting faster, but I think she will end up crawling normally. She loves that she can follow Bristol around better.Kali at 9 months.
Fourth of July
Just a day I thought she looked super cute.
At the beach last week. She enjoyed trying to eat the sand. I finally gave up trying to stop her and then she stopped on her own. I guess it wasn't as fun and a game anymore.
She got into all the kids juice boxes and pulled the straws out. Bristol is having to learn how to put things she doesn't want Kali to get into on the table or some where out of reach.

Pictures of Bristol

I thought since we haven't done anything really spectacular lately I thought I would just put some pictures of the girls lately. This is how Bristol wakes up everyday with her hair all matted.
Bristol wearing her princess backpack. I think that she could fit in the backpack.
At the beach last week with her cousins.
She loves being naked. She put my shoes on and her apron. I thought it looked hilarious.
