Were are finally alive...

So I know that I haven't posted in nearly a month, however we had a great Christmas and five days later the girls and I flew out to California to spend some time with my family. Flying in a plane for about 7 hours total and having a three hour layover on the way out made it feel like one of the longest days of my life. From different circumstances that I encountered I at different points thought I might just start crying. However, I was able to hold it together and we finally made it out. We had a great time seeing all of the family, we only wished that Nate could be there too. Actually Bristol at one point right before we were going to come home said, "Mom I really miss Daddy, but when I am at home I really miss Grandma and Grandpa". What a dilemma. So thanks to my sister Michelle she took some pictures of our outings. I brought my camera to CA but am notoriously bad with remembering to bring it with me and take pictures.

Bristol and Asher, we are not quite sure why she wanted to look like she was eating his head.
Good ol' West Valley.

Feeding the chickens. There is a house by my parents that has chickens in their backyard. Well there are several holes in the fence where you can feed them (don't worry we have asked the owner if it ok if we fed them). So it has been a tradition for a little while to bring bread on the walk and feed the chickens, Bristol refers to it as the "Chicken Walk". The following five pictures are Kali's take on feeding the chickens.
One for you.
One for me.
One for you.
One for me.
"What am I doing something wrong?" I am just glad that the bread wasn't moldy.

Helping make breakfast one morning.
Asher, Grandma, and Bristol.
The three musketeers. They all loved paling around together. Kali loved telling Asher that he was making a mess or to tell him what to do. Over all though they loved having each other to play with.
Bristol with some of her boys. Look at the love in her eyes as she looks at Collin her cousin.
Kali and Aunt Lisa having a serious talk.
We were there for my mom's birthday on the first of January.
Kali emptied all of the toys out of the toy box to sit in it.
On a bridge at Rancho San Antonio. I love this park.
The famous tree that they must climb in each time we go there for a walk. We have so many pictures in this tree through out the years.
Blake, Grandma, and Bristol catching up on our walk. They went on a separate path.
Some sisterly love in their new clothes that Grandma got them.
