Look Daddy

While I was putting Kali down for a nap one morning (and Nate was home), he was watching Bristol in the family room. Well he really was sleeping on the couch. So she was only in her bottom of her pj's and she then hikes them up and says "look Daddy". Random, but still cute. She reenacted it for me so I could take a picture.Notice no belly button showing and also you can see Nate sleeping in the background.

So Why Do I Use Diapers?

Sorry if this grosses you out, but I had this question one day when Kali did a a big poop. I swear none of it was even in the diaper. This is after I had wiped her tummy off and the diaper. It is just the remains left.

Our Happy Baby

Kali is always the happiest smiling little baby. However, Nate and I realized lately that we don't have as many pictures as Kali as we have of Bristol at the same age. So one day I decided to take some pictures of just her. Of course she just kept smiling away at me.
She had to go to her four month check up yesterday and her results are in. She is 24" long and 15lbs. That puts her in the 50th percentile for height and the 90th for weight. Bristol was never even over 50% in either of those categories. So yes Kali is making up for it.

Finger Nails, but not my toes

So Bristol is really into getting her finger nails painted now. However, every time she asks me to paint her nails she always says, "but not my toes". She hates her feet being touched period. She always has. To trim her toenails Nate and I both have to pin her down and trim them together. Often associated with bribing her with some sort of treat. The blue dot in this picture is from her nail polish when she was blowing it dry. She got a little close to her face.Oh and you can see her new haircut too.

Hair Cut

So I cut Bristol's hair the other day. She did pretty good with holding still. Nate had to read her stories so she would look up and hold relatively still. It is a pretty cute little haircut. It turned out a little shorter than I initially thought of cutting it, but it is like the second time I cut a girls hair and first time I cut a little girl who doesn't hold stills hair. Pictures will be coming soon.

Bath Towel

Here is Bristol trying on a hooded towel I made for one of her playgroup (or "playgroot" as Bristol calls it) friend's birthday. The towel turned out pretty cute, but it took some time to make because I had to apply six flowers and sew them all on. Not to mention I can never just sit down and do it. Bristol also has become extremely interested in sewing. However, she calls the sewing machine "monkey towel" because that is what she lasts remembers me making on it.
