This Weekend

So this weekend we went down to my parents house. We had an eventful time from carving pumpkins at my dad's fire station with the fire fighters, then later going to my parents Halloween party (I thought I would like to get the most out of their costumes this year as possible), family picture time at the park, and last but not least Kali's official birthday party.

This face is one Bristol likes to give often these days.
Kali was not interested in carving the pumpkins she just liked eating the pumpkin pieces that were discarded from the carvings.
My sister had the idea of them sitting on the back of the truck. Looks pretty cute.
With my dad and Amy the other firefighter.

Halloween time! Bristol's costume only cost me two dollars to make. I did have to buy the tights for $6, but I figure she can wear them through out the year. Kali is wearing Bristol's costume from last year. I told Nate I felt bad that she gets the repeat costumes. Nate thinks I am crazy.
We went out Saturday morning to a park by my parent's house to get our annual family picture taken. Luckily I have snaked my mom into taking our picture for the last three years. I am not sure what I will do next year. Well this was a little monkeying around that the kids did before the picture.
Kali's birthday. Just ignore her cousin Collin next to her picking his nose.
The cake I made for Kali. For some reason we started calling her Kali Bug from when she was little and I started making her things with ladybugs, like: her hooded bath towel and a shirt. So I thought it would be appropriate to carry out the theme and have a ladybug cake.

Looks like everyone had a lot of fun. Your girls are soooo cute. I love all of Bristol's faces she made. Kali is cool. She just seems to go with the flow. Karen

We have a blog too.

So adorable. I am getting some great pics for the calendar. It's going to be hard to fit all the cute pictures on one calendar!
